Dr. Kathryn van Asselt’s school counseling students are celebrating. They are recent winners in the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP) national advocacy week video competition. Their video Why is CACREP Important?, produced by students Nick Yoder, Steven Coop, Dhara Sheth, Sada Dewey, Emily Sanborn, Laurie Gottschalk, Kate Knochel, Michael Lambert, Susan McAndrew, and Kelly Russell, took second place in the national competition. CACREP is the accrediting body for the GSE’s Counselor Education programs. Congratulations to all!
