Doctoral student Amanda Byron honored

Amanda Byron, Director of Violence Prevention in the Department of Conflict Resolution and EdD student in the Educational Leadership Program is a recipient of the 2010 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) Outstanding Teaching Award. The John Eliot Allen Outstanding Teaching Award is designed to “promote and reward outstanding teaching in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.” Eligible faculty are ranked by current CLAS students with the award going to the most highly rated professor in each department.

Amanda earned her BA in Business Administration at Lewis and Clark College, her MA in Intercultural Management at the School for International Training, and is currently studying critical pedagogy and peace education in the PSU Graduate School of Education.

Congratulations to Amanda and the other recipients for their dedication and achievements.
