Dr. Helen Young selected for national research training

Special Education Senior Research Associate Helen Young, has been accepted for the National Center for Education Research (NCER) Institute of Education Sciences Summer Research Training Institute: Cluster Randomized Trials. For two weeks this summer, she will have the opportunity to learn about the latest in research methods with some of the best researchers in the country, with most expenses paid by IES and Northwestern University. Dr. Young’s invitation represents a big step in moving the GSE’s research efforts forward. Dr. Young will bring back to the GSE important knowledge to share with other faculty as they seek funding for their research. The National Center for Education Research (NCER) is administered by the US Department of Education and supports education research from early childhood to adult education.
